Custom Screened Porches & Outdoor Living Spaces

When homeowners want to get more out of their backyard, a thoughtfully designed screened-in porch is one of the best investments they can make. Our clients started with a wood deck and pergola that offered limited shade but little protection from insects, rain, or the unpredictable Kansas weather. They wanted an outdoor living space they could comfortably enjoy from spring through fall without losing the open feel of their backyard.

We transformed the existing deck into a beautiful custom screened-in porch featuring cedar framing, a vaulted wood ceiling, recessed lighting, decorative string lights, a large ceiling fan, and double entry doors. The screened enclosure provides a bug-free retreat while allowing fresh air and natural light to flow throughout the space.

To complete the backyard, we installed a custom paver patio using Mattoni® Sable Blend pavers in a classic herringbone pattern, accented with Unilock® Beacon Hill Smooth XL Champagne Easy Clean pavers and a Mattoni® Dark Charcoal soldier course border. The combination of premium materials and thoughtful backyard design creates distinct spaces for relaxing, dining, and entertaining.

Our clients wanted a backyard they could enjoy in every season, but their existing covered deck was too small for entertaining and offered little protection from insects or the weather.

We expanded the covered deck with a seamless roof extension, installed TimberTech® composite decking and Deckorators® black aluminum railing, and added a screened porch featuring the Screeneze® system with TuffScreen® motorized retractable screens for year-round comfort and flexibility.

Below the deck, we created a spacious outdoor gathering area with Unilock® Umbriano® 3-Piece Pavers accented by Unilock® Mattoni® Border Pavers, adding a second entertaining space that complements the upper deck.

The result is a beautifully connected outdoor retreat with multiple spaces for relaxing, dining, and entertaining, all designed for low maintenance and lasting enjoyment.
